Just a short distance away (0.5 km) is the natural swimming pool of Gargazon, which eschews chemical additives in its water purification.
The Adige Valley is a paradise for cyclists! A well-marked and flat bike path runs along the river, leading directly to Merano and on to Lake Resia, or to Bolzano and Lake Garda. You can also return by bike train.
The Sandwiesenhof is an ideal starting point for numerous hikes.
Getting there
Via the Brenner Pass:
By car, you can easily reach us via the Brenner motorway (exit Bolzano Sud) and continue on the Me-Bo expressway (exit Gargazzone).
Via the Reschen Pass, drive to Merano and then on the expressway to the Gargazzone exit.
By train, you can travel via Munich to Bolzano and continue with the regional train to Gargazzone.

Wunderschön gelegen inmitten von Apfelplantagen, 300 Meter vom Zentrum entfernt. Die Ferienwohnungen der Familie Thuile sind sehr sauber, exquisit eingerichtet und wirklich ausgezeichnet. Der Preis ist gut angepasst an die vielen enthaltenen Annehmlichkeiten.

Wir haben im Juli 2022 herrliche Ferien auf dem Sandwiesenhof verlebt. Eine herzliche Begrüßung und eine liebevoll und aufmerksam gestaltete Wohnung, supersauber,es fehlte uns an nichts. Der Hof war eine Oase in einer sehr heißen Zeit....Es standen uns Fahrräder und die tollen Hofprodukte jederzeit zur Verfügung. 500m vom Hof entfernt haben wir gerne die tolle Bahnverbindung nach Meran und Bozen genutzt. ein rundum gelungener Urlaub mit einem herrlichen Blick auf die Berge! Wir können den Hof nur jedem Gast weiterempfehlen! Unser besonderer Dank gilt dem Ehepaar Thuile, die so freundlich gastfreundlich jederzeit mit Rat und Tat für ihre Gäste da sind. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
