Holiday destination
Friedrichstadt is a great starting point for excursions along the North Sea or into the Eider-Trenne - Sorge region. Walk on the dikes, endless beaches or in the Wadden Sea world heritage site. Visit the seal colonies, solitayr Halligen islands, the islands of Amrum, Föhr, Sylt and Helgoland, but also to neighbouring Denmark.
The interior is inviting for hiking, cycling and canoeing. The stork village of Bergenhusen is only a few kilometres away. For culture lovers, there is the Theodor Storm City Museum, the Nolde Museum in Seebüll, the S-H music festival and much more.
Getting there
By car from the south via Hamburg on the A23 to Heide, then towards Husum.
With the train via Hamburg - Husum-Sylt. Only express and regional trains stop in Friedrichstadt. We will pick you up from the train station.

Host informationThe holiday house is the house where I was born, and after my mother passed inn 2006, my husband and I extensively renovated it. All of the tile pictures in the hallway, kitchen, toilet and bathrooms were made by myself according to historical examples.
