Cancellation policy
In the event that a renter must cancel a reservation and provides me with a written notice at least eight weeks or more in advance of the rental date, all fees paid shall be refunded to the renter.
If the reservation is cancelled between eight and four weeks in advance of the rental start date, the renter shall receive a refund of 50% of the rental fees paid
If the notice of cancellation is received less than four weeks prior to the rental start date, the renter shall forfeit all rental payments.

Holiday destination
Malaucène, is surrounded by grape vines, olive & fruit trees at the foot of Mont Ventoux, the “Giant of Provence”, famous for the Tour de France. There are restaurants, bars, electric car recharger base, high class Spa (Pilates, Yoga and other classes), Weekly market (Wednesdays), 12th Century Church offering classical concerts during July and August and lots more easily within walking distance (50-100 meters to the start of the shops and restaurants, 700 meters from the villa to the church).

Les Alouettes has become our favorite place in France! You are a most thoughtful and generous host. Every moment of our stay here has been delightful. The location is ideal, an easy short walk to town, with its shops and many fine restaurants. An added plus are all the wineries close by and we certainly enjoyed the wonderful Rhone wines. We can't wait to come back, hopefully l'annee prochaine. Keep well.

Les Alouettes is a delightful villa in which to holiday. Situated in a quiet spot, yet only a few minutes walk from the centre of the small town of Malaucène, with its ancient church pealing out the quarter hours, the village has all the amenities, including several bar/restaurants, a small supermarket and an apothecary, that visitors might require. Once a week there is a lively market. The villa itself is decorated impeccably and is well equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, and all entertainment systems, together with wi-fi. There is a family bathroom (with shower), along with a separate shower room. Being almost entirely on one level there are no accessibility issues. All linen is provided, including for the swimming pool which, not visible from the house, offers welcome relief on a hot Provençal day. The garden is a delight, with roses as well as banks of lavender. Inside, there is ample accommodation for six people. There is a large dining table in the main living area, or visitors can opt to eat outside under a roof of spreading vine. Within a short distance is the town of Vaison la Romaine, with its Roman ruins; and further away, though still within an easy driving distance, are Mt Ventoux and Avignon, with its famous Palais des Papes. The host is charming. There to greet you and always approachable to answer questions, but never likely to intrude. All these factors combine to make an unforgettable stay.
