In Oberammgergau, the "WellenBerg" spa offers fun for the whole family with large water slides and a heated outdoor pool with a view of a magical Alpine foothills (affordable admission price). Murnau offers relaxation in museums, in the cinema and with beautiful shopping opportunities. The capital of Bayern, Munich, is only 1 hour away.
Holiday destination
Excursions are right on your doorstep: the "romantic street", the Ettal monastery, the Wieskirche church, the fairytale castles Linderhof and Neuschwanstein, Oberammergau (the "WellenBerg" adventure pool is great fun not only for families) and Murnau. For winter lovers there are ski runs, a 3km long toboggan run, fantastic cross-country skiing opportunities. Garmisch and the Zugspitze can be reached in 25 minutes.
Getting there
Travelling by car: From Ulm: Take the A7 to the end of the highway, head towards Füssen-Steingaden-Garmisch, take the B23 to Saulgrub, turn left to Bad Kohlgrub. From Munich: A95 towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen to the Murnau exit, through Murnau towards Oberammergau, 12km to Bad Kohlgrub Arriving by train: From Munich hourly trains to Bad Kohlgrub (change in Murnau)

Was für ein Hotel. Großartig. Alles ist wunderschön eingerichtet. Gemütlich, und wenn man das richtige Zimmer bekommt, hat man eine fantastische Aussicht. Außerdem gibt es ein köstliches Frühstück im typisch bayerischen Stil. Es gibt auch einen sehr schönen Wellnessbereich. Ich habe ihn selbst noch nicht ausprobiert, aber der Eindruck ist großartig.
