The village has 4 restaurants with delicious cretan food and one pizzeria, 2 mini markets,4 cafes and 2 boutiques with hand made goods.There is also a small playground in the plaza.
There are two important archeological sites in walking distance, Festos 2 km and Matala caves 5 km.
In Matala there are several night bars from May -November. The area is ideal for walking, swimming and mountain hike. Most people who visit the village come back.

Ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus. Die Gastgeber, Angeliki und Thomas, sind sehr herzlich und kümmern sich um alles. Die Kinder lieben den großen, sauberen Pool, und wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. �

Ausgezeichnet. Da fehlt nichts, sehr sauber und gemütlich. 100m bis ins Dorfzentrum mit Supermarkt und 3 ausgezeichneten Gasthäuser. 5 Min zum Strand. Die Eigentümer sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Empfangen wird man mit Oliven und Wein. Wir sind bereits das 2. Mal hier und kommen wieder. Best Place To Be.
