Cancellation policy

If we get a new booking in the canceled period, we only charge the difference. In the event of a government travel ban you will receive a credit note for payments already made. Holiday destination

The Artist House is located in the centre of Pitsidia, a small, quiet village on the south coast of Crete. Pitsidia is so centrally located that you don't have far to go for anything, be it the sea, the mountains, gorges, caves, valleys, excavations or towns. Everyone can organise the holiday individually here and enjoy it wonderfully. In Pitsidia, everything is within walking distance. For example, you can have a great breakfast in the "Onira" and end the day with a good glass of wine in one of the many delicious restaurants. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to the beach, and only five minutes by car. There are music events on the village square twice a week. These evenings have a great atmosphere. There are easy as well as adventurous hiking possibilities in the surrounding area..... There are many sights to explore: Palace of Phaistos, Gortyna and Agia Triada archaeological sites, Moni Odigitrias monastery and much more. Beautiful beaches: Komos, Matala, Red Beach, Kalamaki, Agiofarago, Lentas,Tripiti, Preveli, etc. The new archaeological museum of Messara is also within easy reach.

Getting there

Your destination airport should be Heraklion as it is only about 50 minutes away from Pitsidia. We would be happy to organize an airport transfer (taxi) for you so that you can relax during the journey. You will be personally awaited at the exit of the arrivals hall by our local German and English speaking taxi driver and your well-deserved vacation will begin without any delay. If you wish, we can also help you with a rental car reservation from a local provider. This saves you unnecessary waiting time at the rental car counter in Heraklion.

Wir waren wiederum als ganze Familie unterwegs und haben alle vier Ferienwohnung angemietet und Manolis ist einfach nur nett und dann lädt er dich ein und dann gibt's leckeres Essen und Raki ohne Ende. Und wahrscheinlich ist es das schönste Ferienhaus in Pitsidia und Pitsidia ist sowieso wunderschön und der Beach ist gut und das Ganze ist von Bärbel so gut verwaltet und die ist so nett und so herzlich und wir haben gar keine andere Chance: Wir kommen wieder
