The natural preserve begins right behind the house Dreistegen “upper Rurvalley” with sufficient bikes and wandering foot-paths to Eifel-steep road and to the higher venn.
The old town with its framework-houses, the old castle and the “red-house” are all comfortably reachable by feet, cycle in less than 5 minutes. The host lives in the house as well and likes assisting the guests with the days – and trips plan.
In case the time allows and there is the wish, is the possibility for wandering, riding bicycle or motorbikes together!

Wir haben zum vierten Mal in Folge in diesem schönen Ferienapartment übernachtet und waren, wie immer, absolut begeistert. Das Apartment ist schön und geräumig und war bei jedem unserer Besuche sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Man hat alles, was man braucht, und die Lage ist ebenfalls hervorragend.

The appartment was spacious and clean with everything you could need. Garden was lovely with our own patio, bikes for the children, trampoline, play area, fire pit and lovely river views. A short walk into Monschau or into tbe forest. Would happily stay again!
