Holiday destination

The magic of Altaussee is already in the name of the place. Everything has a tradition here. The world of miners in the salt mine exists today as it did hundreds of years ago. The fishermen take their char out of the crystal clear lake, just like their ancestors did. And the guests love their Altaussee as much as the first strangers who came to the village well over a hundred years ago and realized that they were not strangers here at all, but safe and at the destination of their dreams.

Getting there

By car from the west/north: A1 to Regau – Gmunden – Bad Ischl – Bad Goisern – Pötschenpass – exit Altaussee – direction Orstzentrum. Turn left at the Gasthof Villa Salis in the direction of Salzbergbau / Saline. After 50 m turn left and the destination is reached. By car from the east/south: via A2 – S6 – Bruck a. d. Mur – St. Michael – / A9 to Liezen – B 145 to Trautenfels – direction Bad Aussee – exit Altaussee – direction Orstzentrum. Turn left at the Gasthof Villa Salis in the direction of Salzbergbau / Saline. After 50 m turn left and the destination is reached.

Wir waren eine Woche in der sehr schönen Ferienwohnung in bester Lage zum Altaussee und allen Restaurants. Die Wohnung war blitzsauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren mit allem super versorgt.Es fehlte an nichts. Sehr sympathische Gastgeberin. Tolle Lage. Zu Fuß alles im Ort gut zu erreichen. Wir empfehlen die Wohnung weiter.
