Sicily has a long history of wine production, and some of Italy's best wines are produced here. Visit a winery and take part in a wine tasting to get to know the different varieties.
Holiday destination
The holiday home is located in a small settlement of detached single-family homes with no through traffic, just 800m from Playa Grande beach. It's only 4 km to Donnalucata with its fishing port, and just 6 km to Marina di Ragusa with its marina. And the Sicilian eateries with their Mediterranean delicacies and local wines leave nothing to be desired. Visit one of the many local markets to buy fresh fruits and vegetables, cheese, and olive oil.
Getting there
Casa Carlotta is located approximately 60 km south of Syracuse.
Please note: Your arrival should be between 3:00 PM and no later than 7:00 PM; in case of flight delays, please notify us immediately!!!
Your departure should be by 10:00 AM, thank you.
By car or by airplane. Flight time is about 2 hours and 20 minutes.
Preferably, you should land at Catania Airport, from where you can reach the holiday home by car via the coastal road in about 90 minutes. By bus, it takes about 110 minutes.
To access the countless attractions and sports offerings in Sicily, having your own car or a rental car is essential.

My name is Charlotte Jaroch and I have loved Italy for as long as I can remember. Since my childhood, I have spent many vacations in Italy and over the years, I have fallen more and more in love with the country, its people, and the culture.
Not to mention the delicious food and fine wines.
I often dreamed of owning my own little house in BELLA ITALIA, and now that dream has come true.
It was truly love at first sight; I saw this little house and was completely charmed, and my husband was and is just as thrilled.
We place great importance on a beautiful ambiance so that you feel completely comfortable with us.
That's why our CASA CARLOTTA is currently being spruced up for us and our guests.
During the times we cannot be in Donnalucata, our friend Enzo, who is local, takes care of CASA CARLOTTA.
Enzo speaks fluent German, will welcome you upon your arrival, and bid you farewell on your departure day.

Wir waren neugierig und haben es nicht bereut ! Unsere Auszeit und gleichzeitig unser persönlicher Jahreswechsel auf Sizilien , noch dazu in der wundervollen CASA CARLOTTA , war unbeschreiblich schön.
Tagsüber hatten wir tatsächlich noch knapp 20 GRAD . Am Abend durch´s Städtchen schlendern ,alles war zauberhaft geschmückt und wir haben jeden Tag genossen . Sogar die Casa Carlotta war in Weihnachtsstimmung , wir wurden mit einer stilvollen Weihnachtsdeko überrascht und sogar Prosecco und Wein wurde für uns bereit gestellt ! Wir möchten uns von ganzem Herzen bedanken , bei Enzo der immer für uns da war und natürlich an Carlotta Jaroch für den so warmherzigen Kontakt ! Der nä. Urlaub in der Casa Carlotta ist bereits fest eingeplant :-)

Es freut mich ,das Eure Neugierde belohnt wurde ich dazu beitragen durfte :-) Weihnachten und Sylvester auf Sicilia ist wirklich wunderschön und dieses Jahr wurde erstmalig auch unsere CASA CARLOTTA dezent festlich geschmückt / dekoriert und es freut mich zusätzlich ,das es Euch gefallen hat. An Weihnachten und Sylvester gehören doch einfach Lichterketten dazu, finde ich . Dieser Ort war alles, was wir uns erhofft hatten! Wir wurden durch Enzo sehr herzlich empfangen und über den gesamten Zeitraum war er immer für uns erreichbar und gab uns wertvolle Tipps . Die Casa lässt wirklich keine Wünsche offen und der Privatpool und die wunderschöne Terrasse waren unsere persönlichen Highlights , auch wenn dieser im November doch sehr frisch war , wir haben diesen wirklich genutzt .Die Außentemperatur tagsüber betrug tatsächlich noch um die 22 Grad , ideal für Tagestouren . Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und konnten bestens unseren Alltag hinter uns lassen. Vielen Dank das wir in dieser wunderschönen Casa unsere Ferien verbringen durften, es wird nicht unser letzter Urlaub dort gewesen sein.
