Cancellation policy
If you as the renter cancel the booking of the holiday property, the landlord is entitled to compensation, which is standardized as a percentage of the total price, based on the time of the customer's cancellation, as follows:
- up to the 50th day before the start of occupancy: 30%
- from the 49th to the 30th day before the start of occupancy: 50%
- from the 29th day before the start of occupancy: 90%
These cancellation rates do not apply to pandemic-related cancellations: If your arrival is officially prohibited due to border closures, travel or accommodation bans, you can, of course, rebook free of charge or cancel the booking.

Holiday destination
You can reach the kilometer-long, wide, fine sandy beach within a few minutes by bike or car. (There is a large, free parking lot there.) There is a beach bar and a highly recommended fish restaurant, both of which have a spectacular view of the sea. A supermarket, a bakery, a butcher, a pizzeria, and the recommended weekly market are each about 300 meters from the holiday home.

Host informationI have known the region for over 40 years. After acquiring a holiday home in the early 90s, the idea soon emerged to offer further handpicked accommodations from neighbors, friends, and acquaintances.

Schönes Haus. Strand sehr gut erreichbar. Kostenloser Bus-Shuttel zum Strand. Sehr gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe.

Es freut mich sehr zu hören, dass Sie die Zeit am Atlantik genießen konnten und mit dem Ferienhaus, dem nahen Strand sowie den Einkaufsmöglichkeiten so zufrieden waren. Auch der kleine Strand-Shuttle ist tatsächlich eine praktische Ergänzung, um das Auto einfach mal stehen zu lassen und entspannt ans Meer zu fahren.
Von Ende Juni bis Mitte September bin ich jedes Jahr selbst vor Ort in Frankreich an der Atlantikküste und begleite meine Gäste während ihrer Ferienzeit. Vielleicht ergibt sich bei Ihrem nächsten Aufenthalt die Gelegenheit, dass wir uns persönlich treffen und ich Ihnen noch den einen oder anderen Tipp für Ausflüge, Restaurants oder versteckte Lieblingsplätze geben kann.

Das Ferienhaus hat uns sehr gut gefallen, es war sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Es ist in einem Wohngebiet sehr ruhig gelegen und gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich, er erkundigte sich zwischendurch, ob alles in Ordnung sei. Die Vermittlung durch Herrn Bell verlief wie immer kompetent und reibungslos. Einziger Nachteil, für den aber weder der Vermieter noch Herr Bell etwas kann: um zum Strand von Ondres zu gelangen und der dort herrschenden Parkplatznot zu entgehen, wird seitens der Gemeinde ein kostenloser Bus-Shuttle-Dienst angeboten. Leider darf man dort keinen Hund mitnehmen, sodass wir dann gezwungen waren mit dem Auto zum nächstgelegenen Strand nach Labenne zu fahren. Darauf angesprochen, will der Vermieter das bei der Gemeinde besprechen.
