The Burgberg cable car offers visitors the experience of floating up to the Großer Burgberg in three minutes. The tree suspension railway, which leads through the old treetops of the Cold Valley, is suitable for young and old. The Burgberg is the starting point of many hiking trails, such as e.g. B. to the lynx enclosure or whey house. In the immediate vicinity of the Burgberg cable car is the treetop suspension railway or the climbing forest.
18-hole golf course: Bad Harzburg offers one of the most scenic golf courses in the middle of a wonderful hilly landscape with an adjacent game reserve and the horse racing track and stud meadows.
In the Bad Harzburg area you can hike directly to the Brocken (13km), swim in the Oderteich, ride down the Wurmberg on the monster scooter, watch the horses on the racecourse, play mini golf in the spa park or listen to the spa concert, climb yourself or have someone climb you in the high ropes climbing garden, Visit the fairytale forest with the (grand)children and then take the cable car up the castle hill, hike to the lynx enclosure, take a cure in the spa center and do much more.
Getting there
Bad Harzburg can be reached by car from the west via the A7 exit Goslar or Bad Harzburg and continue on the B6, from the north on the A395 from Braunschweig, from the east on the B6 from Wernigerode and from the south on the B4 via Braunlage.
