Cancellation policy
The guest has no right of cancellation free of charge. In the event of cancellation, the guest is obliged to pay part of the agreed price as compensation. The amount of compensation is based on the following table:
Cancellation up to
45 days before the start of the rental period: 10 % of the rental price
44 - 30 days before the start of the rental period: 25 % of the rental price
29 - 8 days before the start of the rental period: 50 % of the rental price
7 days before the start of the rental period - start of the rental period: 100 % of the rental price
Cancellation must also be made in writing.
The landlord can cancel the booked service without giving reasons up to 30 days before arrival. Payments already made will then be refunded to the guest in full. A later cancellation of the contract is also permitted in the event of force majeure or other unforeseeable circumstances that make the booked stay impossible. In this case, liability is limited to reimbursement of the rental price. In the event of justified cancellation, the guest shall not be entitled to compensation. Liability for travel and hotel costs is also excluded. We recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance.

Holiday destination
Westerode is located at the foot of the Harz Mountains and offers a charming mix of unspoilt nature and historical flair.
There are also plenty of cycle paths suitable for exploring the picturesque countryside. There are also horse riding facilities and golf courses (classic, football and swing golf). The nearby Harz National Park also offers numerous opportunities for outdoor activities, family excursions, hikes and other adventures.
Getting there
Travelling by car:
Just follow the satnav to Sandstraße 10 in 38667 Bad Harzburg! :-)
Travelling by train:
There are regular regional trains from all directions to Bad Harzburg, Vienenburg and Goslar.
From Bad Harzburg railway station you can take a taxi (approx. 2 km, recommended!) or bus no. 821 in the direction of Westerode (only runs Mon-Fri and rarely!).
Get off at the bus stop "Westerode, Feuerlöschteich".
From there, walk southwards ("uphill") along Sandstraße for about 5 minutes until you reach house number 10 on the left-hand side of the street.

We live with our son Ben and our Labradoodle Murphy in Westerode, the most beautiful part of Bad Harzburg. It's nice here in the truest sense of the word - and we do (almost) everything to make you feel at home with us and have fun in and around the Harz Mountains. There really is a huge amount to experience here for families, hikers, nature lovers, sports enthusiasts and winter fans!

Der Empfang und auch der Abschied von Cindy und Hanno war überaus herzlich. Man fühlte sich eher wie bei Freunden als bei "Fremden". Das spürt man auch in der Wohnung.
Die Wohnung ist perfekt eingerichtet. Alles und jede Menge mehr ist vorhanden, sogar eine kleine Notfallbox mit Zahnbürsten, Zahnpaste, Tempos und Tampons steht im Bad bereit. Das haben wir so noch nie erlebt.
Ebenso haben uns die übergroßen Bettdecken (155x220) begeistert, was dann der einzige "Minuspunkt" ist, da wir uns diese Decken nun auch kaufen mussten ;-)
Den Wintergarten konnten wir leider nicht nutzen, aber wir waren sicher nicht das letzte Mal im Gipfelglück. Zum mal mit Garage und Stellplatz das Auto auch bestens und sicher "untergebracht" ist.
