Holiday destination
The house is located on the western edge of a quiet agricultural workers' settlement, so there are unobstructed views of the "Sierra de las Nieves". It is 25 minutes away from the beaches of the "Costa del Sol". It is also not far from the "White Villages" or the famous "Camino del Rey".
Getting there
It is 20 km from Malaga airport by rental car or cab. It is also possible to travel by train to the neighboring town of Pizarra, 4km away.

Host informationI worked in Spain as a teacher of textile art and restoration. Twenty years ago I bought and restored this small guesthouse. I enjoy spending time with good food and also offer cooking classes to my guests. Casa Cerralba is the perfect place for families and friends to feel at home together. As is usual in Andalusia, hospitality and openness are important values for me. As I like to travel myself to get to know the culture and customs of the people, it is important to me to make this possible for all guests of Casa Cerralba - the hinterland of Málaga is exactly the right place for this.

Wir waren im Oktober 2025 für 2 Wochen zu Gast im Casa Cerralba und haben einen wunderbaren Urlaub dort verbracht, der zugleich sehr entspannend und doch voller vielfältiger Eindrücke war.
Das Haus selbst ist mit viel Liebe restauriert und außerordentlich geschmackvoll eingerichtet und lässt es bei Komfort und Behaglichkeit an nichts vermissen - nicht nur in der warmen Jahreszeit, sondern ebenso während der Wintermonate.
Carmen und Tobias sind die nettesten Gastgeber und haben uns viele Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben, so dass wir neben Ausflügen nach z.B. Sevilla, Granada, Ronda, etc... auch einige spannende Wanderungen in der nahen Umgebung machen konnten.
Vielen Dank, liebe Carmen und lieber Tobias - wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Petra und Jörg, waren sehr angenehme Gäste, wie man es sich nicht anders wünscht, sie sind sorgsam mit den Einrichtung umgegangen.
Außerdem war die Kommunikation stehts freundlich, zweifellos sehr empfehlenswerte Gäste, wir würden uns sehr freuen, wenn wir sie wieder hier begrüßen dürfen.

Zentral zwischen der Stadt, verschiedenen Stränden und den Bergen mit Sehenswürdigkeiten gelegen. Im Haus gibt es eine geräumige, gut ausgestattete Küche, Grill sowie Esstisch drinnen und draußen. Es gibt eine Metzgerei um die Ecke und einen kleinen Laden mit Gemüse aus der Region mit gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Unsere Gastgeberin welche im Nebenhaus wohnt war immer hilfsbereit, hat uns einen Korb Orangen geschenkt und wir haben mit ihr einen Kochkurs bei ihr gemacht. Der Pool ohne Chlor war noch etwas kalt und hatte etwas Algenbewuchs, was aber für einen Naturpool normal ist, und das saubere Wasser war wirklich einladend.
Das Haus war sehr sauber und ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen
