If you cancel 5-0 days prior to arrival: 80% of the rate for the 1st night.
If you don't cancel your booking/are a no-show: 80% of the full booking price.
In case of early departure, we charge 80% based on the remaining days.
If you cancel up to 6 days prior to arrival, payments already made will be refunded.
If you cancel later than that, payments made by that date won't be refunded.

Our "Birnbaumhof" is situated just outside Schwedelbach, at the edge of the forest in the Palatinate hill country and right next to the bike and hiking paths. The golf course is only 5 minutes away.
Whether you go Nordic walking, jogging, cycling, hiking, golfing or are interested in cultural activities - you can start right on our property and explore the wonderfully diverse landscape of the Palatinate Forest and - the hill country.
The "Pfälzer-Land-Radweg" (bike path) runs along the house and the "Barbarossa Radweg" is just 2 km away. Bicycle rental and garage on-site.
Getting there
A6, from the direction of Mannheim, take the exit 15 - Kaiserslautern and turn west onto the
B270 towards Lauterecken/Weilerbach = bypass for about 2 km, continue on the L367 to the roundabout (shortly before Mackenbach), 1st turn-off towards Schwedelbach. In Schwedelbach, take the 2nd street on the right - Mackenbacher Straße;
or:
A6, coming from Saarbrücken, take the exit 13 - Landstuhl, towards Ramstein, bypass road towards Kaiserslautern, Weilerbach, roundabout shortly before Mackenbach, 2nd turn-off Schwedelbach. In Schwedelbach, take the 2nd street on the right - Mackenbacher Straße.

Wunderschönes, klassisches deutsches Pension-Stil-Gästehaus. Der Gastgeber ist wunderbar, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Die Zimmer sind makellos sauber und gut proportioniert für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Mein Zimmer bot eine Minibar zu sehr erschwinglichen Preisen.
Frühstück ist verfügbar, Sie müssen lediglich Ihre bevorzugte Zeit mit dem Gastgeber bestätigen. Alle üblichen Dinge sind vorhanden, einschließlich frischem Obst, Säften, Cerealien, Broten sowie Fleisch/Käse und frisch zubereiteten Eiern und Schinken �.
Die Lage ist leicht zu finden und günstig für die Umgebung, insbesondere die US-Luftwaffenbasis (10 Minuten entfernt). Parkplätze sind nur 20 m die Straße hinunter vorhanden ��.

Wir hatten zwei unglaubliche Aufenthalte im Birnbaumhof, und jedes Mal hat uns Octavia mit ihrer warmen und einladenden Persönlichkeit das Gefühl gegeben, wie zu Hause zu sein. Die Lage ist ruhig und bietet den Gästen bequeme Parkmöglichkeiten. Die 20-25-minütige Fahrt zum Landstuhl Regional Center ist ebenfalls ein Pluspunkt. Während beider Aufenthalte haben wir das Standard-Doppelzimmer bewohnt und waren von dem Komfort und der Sauberkeit des Raumes sehr beeindruckt. Wir freuen uns auf unseren nächsten Besuch. Vielen Dank für das wunderbare Erlebnis!
