Holiday destination
Turnau is a manageable market town at an altitude of 784 to 2155 meters with about 1600 inhabitants; a down-to-earth place with an agricultural structure, some commercial enterprises, and rich in tradition.
Here, our guests live the life of the locals and feel comfortable doing so. Around the market square, there are shops, banks, the wellness temple, the pastry shop, and 3 good inns.
Visit the traditional pilgrimage site Mariazell, 20 km away, or the Kapfenberg Castle with its bird of prey show, 24 km away, or hike in the wonderful high mountain world of Hochschwab, Hohe Veitsch, or along the famous Bründelweg.
