Holiday destination
Our vacation home is located on the outskirts of the village with a quiet garden (our "primeval forest"), where you can also enjoy a visit from our free-range ducks. The children can also let off steam in the playground opposite, while the older ones do their shopping in the supermarket within walking distance. Many things are within walking distance of the vacation home: playgrounds, shopping facilities, breakfast options, bakeries, beer gardens, restaurants, bicycle repair shop, historic old town, town center with tourist information and shopping facilities and much more.
The Reinhardswald nature reserve just outside the town offers a variety of hiking and cycling tours, which can be planned in advance using the Reinhardswald Nature Park tour planner. The primeval forest nature reserve and the Sababurg zoo are highly recommended and can be reached in approx. 10 minutes by car or bus. Here are just a few examples of what else you can experience:
Documentastadt Kassel with Unesco World Heritage Site Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe, canoe tours or sub-boarding, swimming on the river, wellness in the Wesertherme (Bad Karlshafen) or the Kurhessentherme (Kassel), leisure, sports and adventure pool "Bad am Park" in the village and much more.

Wir waren vom 15.09. bis zum 22.09.2025 Gäste im Ferienhaus Urwald.
Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub.
Das Haus hat einen besonderen Charme. Es ist mit viel Liebe, Kreativität und dem Auge für das Detail, unter Verwendung von Naturmaterialien, gestaltet.
Alle Zimmer sind modern und hochwertig ausgestattet. In beiden Bädern sind bodengleiche Duschen eingebaut. Die offen Küche ist modern ausgerüstet und es ist alles erforderliche vorhanden.
Nach einem aktiven Urlaubstag ist die Nutzung der hauseigenen Saune ein absolutes Highlight.
Hofgeismar ist ein sehr schönes Städtchen mit freundlichen Bewohnern, guter Gastronomie und vielen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.
Die Umgebung ist für Fahrrad-und Wandertouren geeignet.
Dank an unseren Gastgeber für die freundliche Aufnahme.
