Holiday destination
"Monzelfeld" is the gate to Hunsrück and also to river Moselle.
It is a modern village with 1,100 inhabitants and located above the Central Moselle and the old town of Bernkastel-Kues. The distance to the former Roman town of Trier is 45 km, to gemstone town Idar-Oberstein and airfield Hahn 25 km, to the maars in the Eifel mountains 50 km.
Explore the Moselle valley with its splendid Riesling wines and the forests of the Hunsrück with its numerous sights.
Winter sports and summer dry tobogganing are at Erbeskopf mountain (815 m above sea-level).

Getting there
Via A 1/48 across the Eifel mountains to exit Salmtal/Klausen, continue towards Osann-Monzel, Lieser and cross the Moselle to Mülheim, then go towards Hunsrück for about 6 km up to Monzelfeld.
Exit Wittlich/Bernkastel towards Platten, Zeltingen, Wehlen: cross the tunnel in Bernkastel and go for about 6 km to Monzelfeld.
Via the Hunsrück on B 327 to exit Hinzerather Kreuzung, in direction of Longkamp, Mülheim, Monzelfeld approx. 10 km.

Mit unserer Unterkunft, bestem Herbstwetter und vielen schönen Ausflügen und Wanderungen rund um Monzelfeld, Bernkastel-Kues und der Mosel hatten wir eine wirklich tolle Woche.
Mit der Familie Pauly als Vermieter haben wir uns die ganze Zeit sehr wohl gefühlt und wurden auch verwöhnt mit der ein oder anderen Leckerei aus Frau Paulys Küche. Vielen Dank für Ihre Gastfreundschaft. Auch unsere Jungs waren glücklich in Ihrem Garten. Ein Urlaub bei Ihnen ist wirklich zu empfehlen. LG Familie Rudolph
