Cancellation policy:
Free cancellation up to 8 weeks before the booked departure. Then we will take the repayment of the full deposit.
If cancellation take place within 8 weeks before arrival date we will be try to find an alternative tenant/guest.
If this fails, the tenant/guest is not entitled to refund the deposit.
Therefore it is recommended for the guest to have a travel/ trip insurance.
This insurance pays them accordingly then the insurance conditions, the cancellation costs if you made certain personal reasons (accident, death of a family member, pregnancy, job loss) can not compete as a tenant (guest) to stay in the apartment.

Falkensee is a family-friendly small town at the western borders of Berlin-Spandau. The vibrant city centres of Berlin (approx. 5 km) and Potsdam (approx. 20 km) are nearby.
The 'Schweizerhaus' is a newly furnished, ecological log house surrounded by a eco-garden with 1,800 sqm. The property comprises old trees and a huge lake. The location is quiet, but central.
The 'Schweizerhaus' is directly located in the town centre of Falkensee which means that there are various shopping facilities, restaurants etc. The railway station is only 10 minutes away (on foot), the regional train runs every 20 minutes, free park and ride, tram and underground in Berlin-Spandau.

There is a own highway motorway departure on the western highway ring of Berlin “Falkensee”, from there is it approx. still 4 km up to the Swiss house.
With the train:
In Falkensee is a regional railway station.In les than all 20 minutes a fast train is connecting Berlin , it takes approx. 5 min up to the ICE railwaystation to Berlin Spandau, there are also Metro connections and S -Bahn connections into the city of Berlin
With airplane:
The airport Tegel is approx. 20 km away, it costs approx. 25 Euro by taxi until swiss house(approx. 20 minutes of running time)
The new airport will be available by fast train connection.

Wir haben vom 12. bis 28. Juli 2024 im Schweizerhaus (Tessin-Wohnung) übernachtet. Es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung ist geräumig und mit drei Schlafzimmern, zwei Badezimmern (eines mit Dusche, eines mit Badewanne, jeweils mit Toilette), einem Wohn-Esszimmer und einer voll ausgestatteten Küche perfekt für einen Familienurlaub. Ein Urlaub in einem Holzhaus ist immer etwas Besonderes. Auch die Verkehrsanbindungen nach Berlin sind ausgezeichnet. Der Bahnhof Falkensee ist in 15 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar, und der Berliner Hauptbahnhof oder der Zoologische Garten sind in 15-20 Minuten zu erreichen. Wie bereits erwähnt, war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt mit viel Natur und Kultur.

Alles in allem ein sehr gelungener Urlaub. Super kinderfreundlich inkl. Hochstuhl und zwei Kinderreisebetten, sowie Kinderspielzeug. Der Besitzer ist sehr zuvorkommend und war persönlich für eine Begrüßung vor Ort. Alles funktionierte und war durchdacht eingerichtet. Das Highlight für die Kinder war die am Haus befestigte Schaukel. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Wir empfehlen es gerne weiter.
