Die Wohnung wirkte anfangs vielversprechend, die Bilder überzeugten und die Aufteilung über mehrere Etagen ist wirklich angenehm, um auch mal Rückzug zu haben. Für mich mich die Möglichkeit zur Selbstversorgung ausschlaggebend, deshalb bin ich mit meiner 12-jährigen Tochter hierher. Der frühe Check-In war positiv, die Übergabe unkompliziert. Sauberkeit war okay, aber eher oberflächlich, Sofadecken und Kissen bräuchten dringend eine Wäsche._x000D_
Die Lage ist top: Der Ausblick auf den Piazza Vincenzo Bellini ist wunderschön, Cafés und Restaurants direkt vor der Tür. Dank guter Fenster hört man den Platz kaum. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert zwar, rumpelt aber ordentlich und braucht ewig, bis es kühl wird, da sie nur mit Schlüssel läuft. In den anderen Räumen gibt es gar keine Kühlung. Der Ventilator am Bett ist praktisch, aber nachts viel zu laut. Internet war I.O, der TV ist etwas träge._x000D_

Richtig enttäuschend waren die Mängel: Im Bad wurde Holzlaminat verlegt, völlig unpraktisch. Es ist aufgequollen, zieht Feuchtigkeit und hat uns leider Silberfische und mehrfach Kakerlaken beschert. Dazu war die Duschbrause defekt. Am schlimmsten: Der Kühlschrank, für uns entscheidend, funktionierte nicht. Trotz schneller Rückmeldung vom Service blieb er während unseres 9-tägigen Aufenthalts kaputt. Damit war Selbstversorgung unmöglich. Eine Lösung oder Entschädigung gab es bislang nicht._x000D_

Schade, denn Catania war wunderschön, die Unterkunft jedoch enttäuschend. Zum Schlafen reichts, für mehr nicht.
