The booking can be cancelled up to 120 days before the start of the holiday and any payments made will be refunded minus a processing fee of €100. In the event of a later cancellation, we will retain the deposit. There is no entitlement to a refund of payments already made if the holiday is cancelled.

Holiday destination

The house is situated on an exposed hill (approx. 60 metres above sea level) surrounded by Mediterranean maquis and pine forest. There is a relatively steep, concrete access road to the beautiful sandy beach of Fetovaia. There is a free car park at the beach. From the provincial road below the house, you can reach the house's own private bathing cliffs with a relaxing terrace. Unique in this area! It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the beach. First on the concrete road, then via a narrow, stair-like path through rocky maquis to the beach. It takes 4 minutes by car on the main road.

Getting there

The port of embarkation for Elba is Piombino. The crossing to Elba (Portoferraio) takes about 1 hour. The cost for 1 car + 2 passengers varies between around Euro 60 and Euro 95 depending on the season for a one-way trip. From Portoferraio to Fetovaia you need about 40 min. by car. When you book you will receive a discount code from me which you can use online and with which you can save 20% of the fare for car and passengers return journey.

I have been running a small holiday rental agency in Pomonte, 4 km from Fetovaia, since 2011 and have some very nice properties here and there that I manage. These include the beautifully situated "VILLA ARCIPELAGO".

Ich mÃ¶chte fast niemandem von Villa Montecristo erzÃ¤hlen, weil wir es so sehr lieben! Es ist ohne Zweifel das perfekte Ferienhaus. Von der Lage, nur 2 Gehminuten vom Strand Seccheto entfernt, fÃ¼r ein frÃ¼hes Morgenschwimmen in kristallklarem Wasser, bis hin zur originellen und schÃ¶nen Einrichtung des Hauses selbst. Der Swimmingpool ist perfekt und der Blick von der Terrasse ist atemberaubend. Ich kann nichts daran aussetzen!
