Cheese market in Alkmaar, seal station, Texel (by ferry), Workum is very nice for a walk, Amsterdam approx. 100 km, shopping facilities, water sports such as surfing, catamaran, kite surfing, Texel submarine viewing, Harlingen, Sneek and Workum nearby.

Holiday destination
The holiday home is located in the beautiful beach resort in a park on the IJsselmeer, only 30 metres from the sea. Just across the way there is the bathing bay and the jumping off point for surfers. It is just 1 kilometre to the village. Nearby you will find Sneek, Groningen, Amsterdam about 100 km away. Lemmer and Lelystadt are not far away.
Getting there
Coming from Olpe on the A45 towards Dortmund, then on the A2 towards Oberhausen/Arnhem, then straight towards Kampen, then towards Makkum, about 370 km, a good 3.5 hours.

Wir waren im November sehr spontan für eine Woche in dem wunderschönen Ferienhaus. Das Haus ist wirklich sehr stilvoll und herzlich eingerichtet, man hat sich gleich wohl gefühlt. Es war sehr sauber und liebevoll vorbereitet. Auch die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir können das Ferienhaus aufjedenfall weiter empfehlen. Im November durfte man auch mit Hund an den Strand, Ich glaube im Sommer wird es eher schwieriger einen schönen Spaziergang mit Hund zu machen, da wir an vielen Stellen verbotsschilder gesehen haben. Wenn man jedoch surfen liebt kommt man dort voll auf seine Kosten.
Wir haben uns in der Woche sehr wohl gefühlt und können uns nur Bedanken das alles auch so kurzfristig geklappt hat.

Wir waren zum 3. Mal im Beach Park. Zum ersten Mal direkt am Strand in dem wunderschönen und gemütlichen Haus von Familie Strutmann. Schnell zusammengefasst: es hat alles gepasst. Tolle Einrichtung, es fehlte an nichts. Die Betten waren super, wir haben bestens geschlafen (bis auf die Momente, in denen unsere schwerhörige Hündin frühmorgens meinte, wir müssten ihr vom Sofa aus Gesellschaft leisten ;-)). Aber auch das war ok! Ab 1. Oktober dürfen die Hunde mit an den Strand, dass haben wir sehr genossen. Ansonsten gibt es den tollen Hundeauslauf. Wir empfehlen Sie gerne weiter und kommen bestimmt irgendwann wieder!
