In the interior of the island, there are numerous other destinations, such as Piazza Armerina with the world-famous 'Villa del Casale' or Caltagirone with its artistic ceramics. Not to forget the 'Via Mormino Penna' in Scicli, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage. The region is rich in beaches and nature reserves.
Holiday destination
The location is very quiet and well-maintained. Ideal area for walkers and joggers. No car traffic in front of the house. The property is completely fenced. This area of Sicily is very well-known for its wide and long beaches. Due to the mild temperatures (winter average +15 degrees C), one can enjoy the sea all year round.
It's about 4 km to the town center, and approximately 1.6 km to the sandy beach (as the crow flies 700 m).
Getting there
Follow the motorway signs to "Siracusa" and continue on the motorway until "Rosolini". Now follow signs for "Ispica, Pozzallo and Marina di Modica". Drive through the villages of "Sampieri and Cava D'Aliga". After "Cava D'Aliga", at the roundabout, follow the signs towards "Scicli".
Turn left at the intersection towards "Donnalucata".

Ein angenehmes Bed & Breakfast, das mit Sorgfalt und Professionalität von Giuseppe geführt wird, nur wenige Schritte von der schönen Altstadt von Scicli entfernt. Das Zimmer war komfortabel, mit einem praktischen Badezimmer und einer geräumigen Dusche. Ein Balkon mit einem kleinen Tisch zum Entspannen und praktischen Wäscheleinen zum Trocknen der Handtücher ist ebenfalls vorhanden. In der Nähe der Unterkunft stehen einfache Parkmöglichkeiten zur Verfügung. Wunderschöne goldene Sandstrände sind nur wenige Kilometer entfernt. Wir haben uns für Cava d'Aliga entschieden, mit praktischen Parkmöglichkeiten direkt davor. Wir verbrachten vier Tage damit, ins Meer zu tauchen und die sizilianische Barockvergangenheit zu erkunden. Ein wunderbarer Urlaub, den ich sehr empfehle. Wir werden zurückkommen!

Ich habe im September 2024 vier Nächte mit meiner Schwester verbracht. Das, was wir auf der Booking-Website gesehen haben, entspricht der Realität. Das Zimmer war freundlich und das Bett bequem. Es hatte ein privates WC. Das Frühstück war ein Buffet mit dem Wesentlichen (Obst, Brot, Müsli, Tee, Säfte usw.). Der Gastgeber war kompetent. Die Straße war ruhig mit wenig Verkehr. Der einzige Nachteil war der Lärm des Motors einer Klimaanlage, wahrscheinlich von einem Nachbarn. Es gab auch einen Balkon mit Wäscheleine, einem Tisch und zwei Stühlen, wo wir am Ende des Tages etwas gegessen haben. Es liegt ganz in der Nähe des historischen Zentrums, weshalb es ein guter Ort zum Verweilen ist. Einfach zu parken... ohne zu bezahlen!
