Holiday destination
The Millstättersee is about 4 km. from our place, with a lot of watersports in the summer. The province of Carinthia has many different possibilities for day trips, for everyone something to do. In the winter is the ski-area the “Goldeck” about 12 km., you can admire this mountain from your balcony, and it includes about 30 km. of skilopes. This provides the longest black slope in the Alps, a real challenge for the experienced skier. Also the ski resort Bad Kleinkircheim is easily accessible from our home at about 20 km. This ski area has over 100 km. with a great variety of slopes and 2 thermal pools to relax.
Getting there
Travel direction:
- At the highway (A10) you take the exit: Seeboden-Millstättersee.
- At the end of the exit you come to a crossroad where you turn left towards Seeboden. You follow the road through Seeboden straight to Millstatt, along the Millstättersee. In Millstatt at the Billa supermarket you turn left, and then take the road in the direction Obermillstatt, that is going a little bit uphill with some small curves. Drive through Obermillstatt till Lammersdorf.
- Just through Lammersdorf is the fire brigade where you turn left.
- You follow this little road upwards, in the curve at the left side you’ll find “Landhaus Bonaventura”!

Es war einfach großartig, hier zu bleiben. Der riesige Garten, der Spielbereich, die Grillmöglichkeit usw. Und die Aussicht vom Hügel. Es war super. Und die Gastgeber. Sie sind soooo freundlich und nur ein Anruf im Voraus in derselben Bildung, falls wir etwas benötigen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt hier geliebt. Wir hätten es noch mehr genossen, wenn das Wetter gut gewesen wäre.
