Holiday destination
CasaLiTo is located on the eastern shore of Lake Maggiore on the Italian side. The house is located above the small village of Porto Valtravaglia in the tranquil, typically Italian settlement of ‘Ligurno’ on a hillside with panoramic views.
In Porto Valtravaglia itself (approx. 3 minutes by car from the house) there are countless small bathing bays directly on the lake as well as all the necessary everyday shops - including a wonderful little pasticceria, a supermarket, a pharmacy, a press/book shop and several restaurants. There are also 2 highly recommended trattorias within walking distance of CasaLiTo.
The next largest town is ‘Luino’ (approx. 10 minutes by car). Here you will find everything your heart desires.
Excursions to Lugano (approx. 45 minutes), to the car ferry to Laveno/Intra-Verbania (approx. 15 minutes) or even to Milan or Como (each approx. 1-1.5 hours by car or train) are always recommended! Golfers and hikers will also get their money's worth thanks to the numerous possibilities.
Getting there
The journey is via well-maintained, typical Italian roads. As there is a narrow section on the way to the house, these can only be used by normal everyday vehicles (max. width 2.5 metres).

Die Lage alleine und der Seeblick zeichnen das Haus schon als Traumdomizil aus . Hatten wunderschöne 14 Tage vor Ort. Ein wirklich weiteres Plus ist das perfekte Raumkonzept von Wohraum
Küche Bad und Schlafzimmer . Hier passt alles und alles ist vorhanden. An und Abreise perfekt unterstützt
durch Unterlagen der sehr netten Vermieterin. Besser geht es nicht.

Die Erinnerung an diesen Urlaub wird uns für lange Zeit begleiten - unter anderem, weil die Unterkunft einfach phantastisch ist. Von Beginn der Buchung bis zur Abreise war alles perfekt organisiert.
Die Lage der Unterkunft ist absolut ruhig und perfekt zum Erholen, jedoch ist man in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto auch schnell am See oder hat Gelegenheiten zum Einkaufen. Wer wandern möchte kann direkt vom Haus aus loslaufen - andererseits sind Wohnung und Balkon / Terrasse so wunderschön, dass man auch gerne mal zuhause bleibt um die Aussicht zu genießen.
Die Ausstattung ist perfekt - man merkt, dass die Gastgeberin ein Faible für´s Wohlfühlen hat und daran interessiert ist, dass es auch den Gästen gutgeht.
Besser kann man es nicht machen - daher können wir Casa LiTo zu 100 % empfehlen!
