Holiday destination
Despite the quiet side street, you are very centrally located here. The castle ruins, Weser ferry, supermarket and the solar-heated swimming pool (outdoor pool with large sunbathing lawn) can all be reached on foot in 3-5 minutes.
Polle is right on the popular Weserradweg (Weser cycling path) and you can reach town via the reaction ferry. On this side of the Weser the B83 leads through Polle, Holzminden is 12 km to the south, Bodenwerder is 14 km to the north.
There are indoor pools in Bodenwerder and Holzminden for when it's cooler our, and saltwater springs in Bad Pyrmont, Salzhemmendorf and Bad Karlshafen.
Hameln, Bodenwerder, Holzminden, Höxter with Corvey, Bad Pyrmont are all nearby cities worth a visit.
Shopping in town: supermarket with bakery, butcher, pharmacy, petrol station
Getting there
From the north: A7 to A2, exit Lauenau, via Bad Münder, Hameln onto the B83 to Polle.
From the east: A2 to A7, exit Seesen, B64 via Escherhausen to Bodenwerder, then the B83 to Polle.
Fro the south: at Kassel interchange on A44 towards Dortmund to exit Warburg, then on B241 to Beverungen, then B83 via Höxter, towards Hameln to Polle.
From the west: motorway to Paderborn, then B64 via Bad Driburg, Brakel, Höxter, then B83 towards Hameln to Polle, or motorway to Paderborn, then on B1 via Schlangen, then on B239 at Horn-Bad Meinberg via Schieder-Schwalenberg, in Rischenau left fork towards Polle
From the west from Amsterdam/Osnabrück: A2 to exit Bad Eilsen, then on B83 via Hessisch Oldendorf, Hameln, Bodenwerder to Polle.

Host informationWe are Familie Kehmeier, and we live as a couple in this house. Our 4 adult children live 40 - 400 km away and occasionally come for a visit. We like to cycle through our beautiful Weser highlands and enjoy the magnificent views.

Sehr schöne und saubere Ferienwohnung. Die Lage ist toll in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße. Die Wohnung ist perfekt ausgestattet, es fehlt an absolut nichts. Salz, Pfeffer, Zucker, Kaffee, Handtücher, Spülmaschinen-Tabs, etc. Es ist alles da!_x000D_
Die Vermieterin wohnt unten im Haus und ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit._x000D_
Zur Begrüßung gab es kühle Getränke im Kühlschrank und 2 selbstgemachte Marmeladen!_x000D_
Als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen oder Fahrradtouren ist die Wohnung ideal gelegen._x000D_
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!
