Getting there

Car: A8 towards Stuttgart/Munich from the north or towards Karlsruhe from the south, exit at junction 46 Heimsheim. Turn left onto the country road L1134 towards Heimsheim, at the end of the Heimsheim town center follow the priority road to the right onto L1179 until Hausen. In Hausen, cross the Würm bridge and at the end of the road turn left onto L1182 towards Weil der Stadt. After about 3.5 km, at the level of "Riemenmühle," turn right towards Münklingen. In Münklingen, follow the town road (Böblinger Straße/Liebenzeller Straße) until the 90° left curve, here go "straight" into Lehninger Weg (towards the sports field); it is the second house on the left side of the street. Der Empfang durch die Eigentümer war sehr herzlich und informativ. Die Ferienwohnung ist ebenerdig, hell, komplett neu und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Terrasse im Sommer sicher nett. Ein Bäcker, Blumengeschäft und kleiner Hofladen liegen fußläufig. Discounter u. weitere Geschäfte in Merklingen und Weil der Stadt mit schönem Fachwerk. Bushaltestelle u. Kleine Kirche wenige Meter entfernt. Sehr schöne Wanderwege durch Wälder, Obstbaumwiesen und Felder in unmittelbarer Nähe, allerdings sehr hügelig.
