Balderschwang opens to two sides. For trips to neighboring Austria (Vorarlberg Bregenz), Lake Constance, large and small valley, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Oberstdorf, Thannheimertal and feet with the royal palaces Balderschwang is the ideal starting point.
Getting there
About the A7 or B12 (Augsburg / Munich) you reach the Allgäu. Kempten Allgäu on cross towards Weitnau (Lindau) onto the A96 motorway.
Shortly after the exit take B19 (exit Waltenhofen). The main road leads you to Immenstadt-Sonthofen and fish. In fish turn left at the second traffic light, turn right towards Riedbergpass.
In case of snow, we recommend leaving about Immenstadt Oberstaufen-A-Krumbach A Hittisau.

Als Stadtliebhaber, war der Aufenthalt in den Bergen für uns eine ganz neue Erfahrung, doch in der mit viel Liebe eingerichteten Wohnung fühlten wir uns wie zu Hause. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt und durch die detailverliebte Einrichtung kamen wir richtig in die romantische Alphüttle- Stimmung- wunderbar!
Auch die Dorfführung durch die herzliche Gastgeberin brachte uns die schöne Umgebung von Balderschwang, einem kleinen, aber doch sehr einzigartigem Ort, näher.
Selbst bei dem ein oder anderen regnerischen Tag war keine Langeweile in Sicht- wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!
