The property is situated in the historic heart of the village, opposite the Mairie, on the natural orbieu between vineyards. The splashing village spring with the old washhouse is right next door and offers a refreshing footbath after a hot day. Bakers, grocers, post office, café/restaurant and newsagent around the corner. The impressive Cathar castles, the fortress of Carcassonne, the Canal du Midi and the beach are within easy reach. In 80min you are in front of the world-famous Dali Museum in Figueras. From the house you can start walking in the woods, vineyards and the river.

Es war einfach toll!
Wir hatten eine rund um schönen Urlaub.
Man tritt durch das Alte Tor und steht in einem kleinen Paradies. Ein liebevoll renoviertes Gelände mit Sitzplätzen und einem kleinen Pool einem tollen Vermieter mit tollen Tipps und netten Gesprächen.
Wir waren begeistert von der schönen Gegend zum Wandern und Schwimmen und den schönen alten Städten. Leider war die Zeit viel zu kurz und wir freuen uns schon einmal wiederzukommen.

Feigenduft, Eulen im Baum, Frühstückssonne auf der kleinen Dachterrasse, Philosophie und Pétanque im Innenhof... Mathias Schüßler ist ein Traum-Vermieter, der seinen Gästen eine wunderschöne Zeit ermöglichst. Wir waren das vierte Mal da und wurden heuer durch liebevoll restaurierte alte Fahrräder überrascht, die wie für uns gemacht waren. Auch die Ferienwohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet, das Haus von Mathias selbst restauriert. Die Küche lässt dank der umfassenden Ausstattung auch das Kochen und Backen komplizierter Gerichte zu. Ferrales selbst hat nicht so viel zu bieten (unbeding sehenswert ist jedoch Spiktri, das Street Art Universum), aber in 25 Minuten sind schöne Strände erreichbar, Narbonne ist nicht weit weg und zum Flussbad in Ribaute ist es nur ein Katzensprung. Absolut und unbedingt zu empfehlen.
