Holiday destination
Wewelsfleth is idyllically located in the Wilstermarsch region of Schleswig-Holstein, right at the point where the Stör flows into the Elbe. Wide marsh meadows, dikes and the calm river landscape shape the surroundings and invite visitors to enjoy walks and bike rides.
The proximity to the Stör and the Elbe also makes the area attractive for water sports, fishing and trips to small harbors.
Getting there
If you are coming from the south, you can either travel via Hamburg and the Elbe Tunnel or take the Wischhafen–Glückstadt ferry.
