The nearby lakes are excellent for swimming with children, as the sandbanks slope gently and you can stand for a long time.

Holiday destination
The Medoc is a peninsula in the southwest of France. The Côte d'Argent stretches from the Gironde estuary to the Arcachon basin. Due to the low traffic on the peninsula, it remains quiet and relaxing even in the peak season.
The town of Lesparre, with many shopping opportunities, is quickly accessible. The Atlantic with its magnificent expansive sandy beaches can be reached by car in about 15 minutes.
Good food is highly valued in the Medoc, whether in the many restaurants in the area from simple bistros to Michelin-starred establishments - there is something for everyone.
The food emporiums or the weekly market in Lesparre also invite you to indulge in culinary self-catering.
A lovely day trip leads to Bordeaux or along the coast to the Dune of Pilat.
Getting there
The best way to get there is by car via the motorway (Bordeaux) or by ferry from Royan to Le Verdon (check departure times).
Fly to Bordeaux, then rent a car or take a train to Lesparre.
Take the TGV to Bordeaux, then rent a car or take a train to Lesparre.

fell head over heels in love with this area and convinced their two-legged friends to build a second house. Because here, every dog's heart will beat faster with such beautiful beaches and the sea. Moreover, the house is great for dogs.

Ausgezeichneter Aufenthalt.

Vielen Dank, Claude & Pierre Marie.
