Outdoor go-kart in Dahlem, Ars Tecnica in Losheim, Kommern open-air museum, and Dauner Maare are only about a 1-hour drive. Former Government bunker in Urft, viewing tower and climbing tower Udenbreth, Hürtgenwald Bike Park, Bad Münstereifel Outlet Town, Monschau, Euskirchen palm paradise, Zikkurat sauna resort, Nettersheim natural high rope course Nürburgring approx. 55Km away, and much more. Aachen/Cologne/Bonn about a 1-hour drive away. From Kall station, take the train towards Cologne/Bonn or towards Trier.
Holiday destination
The Eifel lake district with the Urft, Rur and Obersee lakes can be easily reached via Gemünd with only a few metres of altitude difference. The game reserve Hellenthal and the Oleftalsperre are about 5 km away. Our Oberhausen district with its historic town centre is served by the Oleftal Railway from spring to autumn on weekends. In winter: Cross-country skiing trails in Hollerath, Udenbreth, Rohren and Skiarena ( ski+sled lift) Udenbreth. Schleiden city centre approx. 3km and shopping facilities approx. 1km away.
Getting there
By train from Euskirchen or Trier to Kall station. From Kall take bus line 829 in the direction of Hellenthal to the Oberhausen stop. After arrangement a pick up service can be organized at the price of 15, - euro, from Kall train station to the vacation home!

Wir haben drei Nächte in dieser tollen Wohnung verbracht, in der problemlos vier Personen Platz haben. Die Räume sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet und machen einen gepflegten und sauberen Eindruck. Vielen Dank für den netten und unkomplizierten Empfang.

Die Gastgeber sind ausgesprochen nett und sehr flexibel (Thema Schlüsselübergabe)._x000D_ _x000D_ Die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet (auch etwas für die Seele) geräumig und hat alles was man braucht. Und sehr sauber (es ist wirklich eine Herausforderung die Wohnung so zu verlassen, wie man sie betreten hat). Da im Kellerbereich angesiedelt ist, ist der Boden kühl, aber die Heizung und die kuscheligen Pantoffeln gleichen das wieder aus._x000D_ Als Kaffeetrinker war die Filterkaffeemaschine eine schöne Erinnerung an alte Zeiten. Ich hab die Dosierung noch draufgehabt. Also nicht vergessen Mahlkaffee mitzunehmen, ev. auch Papierfilter (aber es gibt einen Goldfilter, wenn's einem genehm ist)_x000D_ Wir haben uns jedenfalls sofort wohlgefühlt._x000D_ _x000D_ Die Lage ist ruhig, schöne Aussicht über den Garten im die Umgebung. Aber: es ist empfehlenswert mit dem Auto, da es recht hoch den Hügel raufgeht. Also zu Fuß runter/rauf zur Hauptstraße ist eher beschwerlich._x000D_ Aber da die Gegend eher ländlich ist, brauch man schon ein Stück Weg, um Einkäufe zu erledigen. Also ein Fahrzeug ist da wirklich empfehlenswert. Parkplatz ist dort gleich gegenüber und geräumig._x000D_ Der Zugang ist teils ein Kiesweg, da muss man nur bei Nachziehkoffer und so vorsichtig sein. Das Licht für den Weg schaltet automatisch, nur nicht zu schnell im Dunkeln laufen. ?_x000D_ _x000D_ Also wir würden auf jedenfall wieder kommen wollen.
