The ski and hiking area Merano 2000 provides a variety of trails on the car-free high plateau, easily accessible via the new cable car. The Merano 2000 valley station is just a 5-minute drive from our house.
Sports enthusiasts can also enjoy nearby tennis courts, golf courses, and swimming facilities. For a more relaxed experience, stroll along the promenades, explore the historic old town with its shops and cafés, or spend a few hours relaxing at the Merano Thermal Baths.

Villa Eleonora is ideally located in the prestigious villa district of Obermais, just a few minutes’ walk from Merano’s city center. Surrounded by lush greenery, it is one of the most sought-after neighborhoods in Merano.
The area offers a wide range of leisure and enjoyment opportunities: stroll along the promenades, visit the gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle, shop and relax at the cafés on Brunnenplatz, or simply enjoy a cappuccino in one of the charming local cafés.
For active holidaymakers, the Merano 2000 cable car station is only a 5-minute drive away, and the chairlift to Dorf Tirol can be reached on a pleasant 15-minute walk. At the same time, Obermais borders the historic old town of Merano, making it easy to combine culture, shopping, and gastronomy all on foot.

Hier fühlt man sich wie Zuhause. Ein sehr gepflegtes Haus mit netten Gastgebern, liebevoller Dekoration, tollem Service und herrlichem Panoramablick. Besonders zu empfehlen: Das Frühstück, auf einem Servierwagen liebevoll präsentiert, ohne Zeitdruck im Apartment genießen mit traumhafter Aussicht auf die Berge. Wir kommen seit Jahren immer wieder gern in die Villa Eleonora, Sommer wie Winter. Den Jahresausklang 2014 haben wir in Meran gefeiert. Von unserer Wohnung aus hatten wir einen traumhaften Ausblick auf das Feuerwerk der Kurstadt Meran. Die freundliche, offene, herzliche Art der Familie Zöggeler und das stetige Bemühen ,das sich ihre Gäste Wohlfühlen, macht den Urlaub zu einem absolut erholsamen Erlebnis.
