Holiday destination
The stylishly renovated stone house with the modern guesthouse has a fantastic sea view and is located on the edge of the village of Kavalos on the Ionic Island Lefkada. It offers all comforts and during the summer, it is a relaxing escape from a hot day at the beach and on cooler days, it is a cosy place with a lot of atmosphere. The view from the terrace is overpowering.
You look out onto olive groves and vineyards, the city of Lefkas, the Ionic Sea and beyond to the impressive Epiros mountains. You can go swimming by the nearby dream beaches, hike, go cycling or just enjoy the tranquillity on the terrace. A good friend is there for any questions. In 2006, our holiday home was selected as the super holiday home from Pro7 Avenzio.

Wir haben unsere Woche im Häuschen sehr genossen. Ein paar Minuten von Lefkas entfernt, ist das Haus einerseits noch gut erreichbar, man hat aber trotzdem seine Ruhe. Das Haus ist stilvoll umgebaut und man fühlt sich schnell zuhause. Die grosse Küche ist perfekt um selber zu kochen. Die Terrasse bietet eine tolle Aussicht auf Lefkas! Wir kommen wieder :-)

Das Haus liegt prächtig in den Hügeln vor der Küste. Auf der Terrasse unter Weinlaub sitzen und einfach nur diesen Blick über die sich zur Küste hin absenkenden Hügel auf das weite Meer genießen, ist bereits Balsam für die Seele.
Das Haus ist hervorragend renoviert, funktional und ästhetisch anspruchsvoll und ansprechend. In Ergänzung zu dem Inhalt anderer Bewertungen noch dies:
- Die Küche ist super ausgestattet!! Auch anspruchsvolle Köche finden hier alles, was sie brauchen.
- Im Mai/Juni war das Haus noch sehr kalt. Wärmflasche im Bett war angezeigt.
- Der Anbau ist nicht von innen mit dem Haupthaus verbunden. Man muss immer außen herum gehen. Das war für uns als zwei Singles etwas beschwerlich. Einziger Eingang geht durch eines der beiden Schlafzimmer.
Insgesamt: gern wieder!
