Also the well known hospital for skin diseases located in the former castle "Friedensburg" above Leutenberg testifies of it.
You can explore many tours and places of interest which are richly offered in the area around Leutenberg.
A visit to the Feengrotten, the Oberweißbacher mountain railway, to the glassblowers of Lauscha, the porcelain manufacture or in the toys museum to Sonneberg or the summer toboggan run in Sonneberg or Ernstthal will excite your vacation.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich von der Familie Steinbock empfangen und erhielten auch viele Tipps für Unternehmungen.
Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr schön und gemütlich und hat alles was man braucht.
Der Blick aus dem Fenster und auf der Terrasse auf die Sormitz ist sehr beruhigend und erholsam. Auch wenn das Wetter nicht so mitgespielt hat konnten wir Einiges unternehmen. Wir wollen auf jeden Fall nochmal wiederkommen.
