Holiday destination
Only 18 minutes from Freiburg and 10 min. from the health resort Kirchzarten away with all the shopping-options. This holiday house is located in the beautiful St. Wilhelmer valley below a natural waterfall with hunting lodge.
The valley of old farm buildings with flat and steep hiking-opportunities (max. height 750 meters walk), ends at the alpine wall of the Feldberg-massif and has Germany's highest mountain goats wild population.
The "Napf", a few minutes walk and the "Holzfallerstube" at the entrance of the valley, Erlenbacher hut and St. Wilhelmer hut invite as hiking destination with typical Black Forest dishes.
The mountain wildlife park "Steinwasen", a biathlon track and ski lifts are also located in the immediate surroundings.
Getting there
A5 Karlsruhe Basel - exit Freiburg center. From then on the B31 towards Donaueschingen.
After Kappler tunnel take the exit to Kirchzarten. Then continue towards Oberried. After Oberried there are 4 km road curving to High Bridge. Turn left into St. Wilhelmer valley.
After about about 2 kilometres (road sign "Feldbergstr. 9 + 10") turn on the left.
Pass the farm on the right. Here is your holiday house.

Sehr ruhig und mitten in der Natur gelegenes Ferienhaus - bestens geeignet für Natur- und Wanderfreunde. Das Haus ist zwar schon etwas älter, aber sehr gepflegt und mit vielen liebevollen Details ausgestattet. Zudem gibt es einen großen Garten, eine überdachte Terrasse und einen Carport für das Auto. Der Eigentümer und Vermieter ist wirklich überaus nett, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend.

... nach dieser fast einsamen Idylle umgeben von Wäldern und Bächen. Wir haben uns so wohl gefühlt. Wenn früh nur das Rauschen des Baches, manchmal der Regen, Vogelgezwitscher und der durch die Bäume wehende Wind uns weckte, waren wir selig. Das ist echte Erholung. Hier konnten wir richtig abschalten. Leider konnten wir aufgrund des Wetters den Garten nicht nutzen, das war sehr schade. Wir konnten dennoch jeden Tag etwas unternehmen und viel Neues entdecken. Die Woche war leider zu kurz, um alles anzuschauen. Unmittelbar nach der Abreise sehnten wir uns nach diesem gemütlichen Kleinod inmitten familiärer Geschichten zurück und bereuten, dort nicht länger gebucht zu haben. Wir bedanken uns beim Vermieter für das Vertrauen. und vielleicht sieht man sich mal wieder.
