Cancellation policy
In the event of cancellation, the rental fee is calculated as follows:
- For cancellations up to the 29th day before the start of the trip: 25% of the total price
- For cancellations starting on the 28th day before the start of the trip: 90% of the total price
The guest has the right to cancel free of charge if the area where the Meerestochter apartment building is located has been closed off or if a ban on tourist rentals has been issued.
For their own protection, guests are advised to purchase travel cancellation insurance.

Located in the idyllic fishing village of Kappeln on the Schlei, this vacation rental—furnished with great attention to detail—is part of the “Meerestochter” apartment building, which was built in 2017. Our building is located right on the guest marina, which welcomes boats from all over the world. The Schlei, with its historic herring fence and harbor promenade, offers you a daily “harbor spectacle.” You’ll also find numerous restaurants here. Just a few meters away is the town center, with its small, unique shops and boutiques. Numerous hiking and biking trails are nearby.
Getting there
By car from the A 7 (E45) toward Hamburg/Kiel/Flensburg, take Exit 8, Rendsburg/Büdelsdorf (the first exit after the Kiel Canal), then continue on the B203 via Eckernförde to Kappeln; turn right immediately after the bridge onto the street “Am Hafen”; our house is located on Am Hafen at the corner of Dehnthof; parking is available right next to the house
