Holiday destination
A short 5-minute walk from the house you'll find the small shopping centre 'Pueblo' with a supermarket, restaurants, an ice cream parlour, boutiques, a bicycle rental service, a small pharmacy, etc. Take in the terrific view of the Atlantic as you stroll along the promenade to the romantic marina (approx. 30 minutes) with its shopping mile, insider shops, restaurants, art market and more. Our house is a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop. You can take the bus to the town centre with transport connections in all directions - a great way to explore the island. Playa Blanca's car-free centre (be sure to take the beautiful footpath/promenade along the ocean and with a fascinating view of Fuerteventura) is a 45-minute walk away. Playa Blanca has numerous shopping facilities, restaurants, German physicians, pharmacies, bicycle rental, etc. The well-maintained promenade, the tranquil pedestrian zone and the fishing & ferry port (the ferry to Fuerteventura) invite you to go shopping, take a stroll and linger a while. You can walk (15-20 minutes) or drive to the famous and stunningly beautiful Papagayo beaches. We can also recommend two popular, very clean and light-coloured sandy beaches in Playa Blanca.
Playa Blanca is one of the sunniest areas on the island. You'll also find that it is an ideal starting point for numerous recommended sightseeing tours.

Host informationAs a travel expert who has travelled extensively, it has always been my dream to own a home where the sun shines (almost) all the time and the temperatures are mild and pleasant year-round, which makes swimming in the ocean possible during all seasons.
The volcanic island of Lanzarote has always been my dream destination.
Here, my family and I can live and find peace and relaxation in harmony with the unique landscape that also helps us to gain new strength for dealing with our everyday life. The simplicity of the island, combined with an almost sacred tranquillity in some places, always has a calming effect on me and everyone in my family.
Several years ago, the incredible richness in colours and contrasts inspired me to take a paintbrush and paints and capture the wonderful impressions of the landscape by painting them. I found that there was never a lack of new, fascinating motifs - at the ocean, in the mountains and in the charming villages. My love for painting kept growing.

Wir haben schon viele tolle Häuser gemietet, aber keines kommt nur annähernd an Casa Romantica heran! Deshalb gehören auch wir zu den sog. Wiederholungstätern und können uns nicht vorstellen, je wieder woanders Urlaub zu machen. Es gibt alles, was das Herz begehrt (und noch viel mehr!), der ganze Bungalow blitzt vor Sauberkeit, in jeder Ecke findet sich ein kleines Detail, was erahnen lässt, wie wichtig den Gastgebern ist, dass sich der Besucher ab Sekunde eins rundum wohl fühlt. Das ganze Haus ist sehr hochwertig, liebe- und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und die stimmigen, selbst gemalten Bilder strahlen pure Lebensfreude aus. Auch der wunderschöne Garten rund um den grossen Pool ist eine wahre Pracht, voll von blühenden Pflanzen und Sukkulenten! Wenn es ein Paradies auf Erden gibt, so ist es hier!

Das Haus/der Garten traumhaft schön.
Nach unseren Aktivitäten und Erlebnissen auf Lanzarote, war es für uns immer wieder schön nach Hause zu kommen
