Other recreational opportunities
You can do versatile and excellent winter sports in the Schwarzwaldhochstraße which is located nearby. For example, there are winter hiking trails so you can go snow-shoeing in untouched nature. There are also bob-sleigh tracks which are illuminated in the evening.
Cross-country skiing on well-prepared ski-tracks with a length of over 70 km is also possible. There is also an excellent marked network of hiking tracks with a size of 470 km at the Westweg Pforzheim-Basel.
Holiday destination
The holiday flat is situated in a sunny, very calm, south-facing area at the edge of the forest with a magnificent view over the valley and the lovely landscape of the Black Forest. The vacation home is next to a hiking trail leading to the health resort; the apartment is very central and close to the spa hotel and the spa gardens of Bad Rippoldsau.
You can reach the Wolf- und Bärenpark in 3 km, Burgbachwasserfall in 1,5 km, Glaswaldsee in 3 km, Straßbourg in 55 km, Europapark Rust in 77 km, Mummelsee in 20 km, Castle Hohenzollern in 70 km, Titisee in 103 km, Freisburg in 105 km, Island Mainau in 140 km, Triberg (Germany's highest waterfalls) in 30 km, Baden-Baden world-famous spa resort in 60 km and the Schwarzenbach reservoir in 35 km.
Getting there
Arrival possibilities to Bad Rippoldsau:
You take the A5 from Karlsruhe to Basel and take the exit "Achern" or "Appenweier" in the direction of the Schwarzwaldhochstraße.
OR:
You take the A81 from Stuttgart to Singen and take the exit "Rottenburg" or "Horb", then you take the B28 to go to Freudenstadt.

Der Ausblick vom Balkon ist ein Traum - die Umgebung ist sehr gut zu erreichen, die Leute im Schwarzwald sind alle freundlich - was will man mehr?

Wir verbrachten 1 Woche Urlaub mit 2 Enkeln in der sehr schönen Ferienwohnung von Herrn und Frau Armbruster. Wir fanden alles notwendige in der geräumigen Wohnung vor. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich, man fühlt sich ausgesprochen wohl. Bad Rippoldsau bietet sich hervorragend als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge an, Kinder werden in der Region auch gut unterhalten (z.B. Vogtsbauernhof, Zauberland Loßburg, Bärenpark Bad Rippoldsau, Mehrgenerationenparcour in Haslach). Die Aussicht vom Balkon ist ebenfalls super.
