Other recreational opportunities

An exciting boat trip from Hooksiel's outer harbor across the Jade Bight to the naval port of Wilhelmshaven and then back to the Jade-Weser estuary to the "Roter Sand" lighthouse. Day trips to the seal banks or to one of the East Frisian Islands are other worthwhile experiences.

Holiday destination

Carolinensiel offers a wide range of leisure and sports activities. The beach is about 1.5 km away. Every August, the Wattensail regatta takes place in the old harbor and on the Harle River, with over 60 sailboats and other vessels participating. Another highlight is the Christmas season when the inner harbor is illuminated with lights. Esens and Jever are beautiful towns and villages worth visiting, not far from Carolinensiel.

Tolle Wohnung, die alles zu bieten hatte. Zentral gelegen Andreas ist ein sehr netter Vermieter. Er hatte viele Tipps für uns. Gerne kommen wir wieder Grüße Konni und Familie
