Sand in Taufers is located in the beautiful Tauferer Ahrntal, an ideal starting point for exploring all sorts of side valleys such as Mühlwald, Rein in Taufers, Weissenbach, etc. Just 300m from the house is the Cascade thermal baths, and right around the house are top restaurants that know how to tantalize your taste buds. The top ski resorts in the vicinity include:
Ski resort Kronplatz - the clear number one and namesake of the entire region is Kronplatz itself. And it's no wonder. Those who reach the very top and spin around once will be truly amazed.
Ski resort Speikboden; Small, exquisite, and very diverse: Speikboden, located between Sand in Taufers and Luttach, has a lot to offer.
Ski resort Klausberg; When children rave about Klausi-Land or tell of their first great attempts at jumping on the Dino-Fun-Line, they've been on the 2510m high Klausberg – which can officially call itself the most family-friendly ski resort in Italy.
Skiing at Speikboden is a sunny ski area up to 2500m with perfectly groomed slopes.
Rein in Taufers is the cross-country skiing area in the Ahrntal.
The name Kronplatz speaks for itself.
Getting there
Take the Brenner motorway and exit at Brixen towards Bruneck, then into the Ahrntal valley. At the entrance of Sand in Taufers, turn right and after 50 meters past the Pizzeria Mausefalle, turn right again.

Wir waren an Pfingsten zu Gast. Armin ist ein sehr professioneller und ausgesprochen freundlicher Gastgeber. Die Apartments sind sauber und gepflegt und der Pool hat uns wie auch unseren Kindern sehr gut gefallen. Auch der Wellnessbereich ist ansprechend und ebenfalls tadellos sauber. Die Lage der Apartments ist ideal, und ein Spielplatz ist in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen.

Wir haben zum ersten Mal unseren Urlaub in den XL Appartements in Sand in Taufers mit 4 erwachsenen Personen und zwei Kindern verbracht. Unsere Wohnung 67qm war mit zwei Bädern und zwei Schlafräumen, Wohnzimmer mit Schlafcouch modern und exklusiv eingerichtet. Ein Solar geheizter Naturpool bietet Gelegenheit zum schwimmen. Ein Highlight ist die Saunalandschaft mit Whirlpool, Dampf- und Finnische Sauna, Relax Liegen mit Rotlicht, zum entspannen; alles sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Toll auch, dass eine Tiefgarage genug Platz zum parken bietet. Vielen lieben Dank auch an die Vermieter Armin und Martin, die sich sehr nett und informativ um ihre Gäste kümmern. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
