Holiday destination
Villanders is a sunny mountain village at about 800m above sea level and is situated above the artist town of Klausen. Here you will experience the beauty and untouched nature up close.
Whether you're drawn to the very popular Villanderer Alm or along the many well-marked hiking trails, you will find yourself pausing time and again to enjoy the magnificent views of Langkofel, Schlern, Rosengarten, and other monumental mountain giants. After all, we are not far from the Geisler peaks and the Dolomite massif, a World Heritage Site.
Getting there
Exit the motorway at Klausen/Chiusa. At the roundabout (Brunnerhof), turn left and then right towards Klausen. Do not drive into the center, but go straight ahead. Then turn left towards Villanders. The road winds its way upwards.
In Villanders, after the Gasthof/Hotel Adler, turn right towards Barbian. Follow this road for 2.3 km and then turn left, continuing towards Barbian/Dreikirchen. After about 300 m past the first farm on the right, turn right directly at the curve. The next farm is the Koanzhof. Welcome to our place!

Die FeWo ist hervorragend ausgestattet, blitzsauber und bietet alles, was man braucht. Absolutes Highlight: der grandiose Blick auf die Dolomiten - wir konnten uns einfach nicht sattsehen. Der Gastgeber - ein Unikat, herzlich, offen und vor allem humorvoll. Die Gespräche am Abend über Gott und die Welt, das Lachen - werden uns in Erinnerung bleiben. Ein Satz bleibt hängen: "Ich darf schon ein bissel Werbung für den Herrn Jesus machen." Dafür brauchts keine großen Worte, sondern gelebte Gastfreundschaft + die Freude am Leben: Ob begeistert Tischkickern, Singen, Ausflug auf die Alm, Grillabend mit Roberts Kartoffelsalat - lecker und viel zu reichlich, Brötchenservice ... Ausflugsziele gibts viele. Danke für diese besondere Zeit!

Hallo , Susan & Matthias; Soviel Lob , ob dass alles genau so stimmt. Danke für die tollen Komplimente und auch an Euch zurück. Sicher sind unsere Weltanschauungen auf der selber Wellenlänge, was einen guten Gesprächsabend , harmonisch werden läßt. Haben vom 13.6.bis 23.6.2026 bei Herrn Robert Gruber auf dem Koanzhof Urlaub gemacht.Man kann es garnicht mit Worten beschreiben wie Herr Gruberfür seine Feriengäste aufgeht.Diese Herzlichkeit verdient 10 Sterne.Sowas haben wir noch nicht erlebt,die gemeinsamen lustigen Abende er ist immer für einen Spass bereit. Die Ferienwohnung war sehr schön und sehr sauber es hat an nichts gefehlt.Natürlich auch die Aussicht vom Balkon einfach Spitze.Wir werden oft an diesen Urlaub zurückdenken .. Kommen auf jeden Fall nächstes Jahr wieder. Fam.Bärbel und Steffen Wetzel aus Schneeberg.
