Holiday destination

Stockach is also known as 'The Gateway to Lake Constance'. The distance to the lake and the nearest beach is about 7 kilometres. In the Osterholz in Stockach there is a large outdoor swimming pool, about 2.5 kilometres away, which provides for cooling off on hot days. In bad weather, for example, the Überlingen thermal bath is easy to reach. The nearest shopping, stores, restaurants, etc., are about 1-3 kilometres from Hindelwangen. In Stockach you will find everything you need for daily life. Due to Stockach's central location, many destinations around Lake Constance are easy to reach: Meersburg with its historic castle and its old town—which is worth seeing, the Zeppelin museum in Friedrichshafen, the Pfahlbau (stone and bronze age pile dwellings) Museum in Unteruhldingen, the Affenberg (monkey park) in Salem, the flower island of Mainau, the fruit and vegetable island of Reichenau, the Allensbach wild game and amusement park and much more. For lovers of nature, the Hegau volcanic landscape or the Danube valley offers many opportunities for hiking and cycling.

Getting there

You can easily reach Stockach coming from Stuttgart on the A81 / A98 or from Müchen/Ulm on the A7 / A96. Stuttgart Airport is about 150 km away and Friedrichshafen Airport is about 50 km away. Also, Zurich/Switzerland airport, about 90 km away, could be an option.

Wir fanden eine sehr schön eingerichtet Ferienwohnung in einer ruhigen Wohngegend in Stockach vor. Die Ausstattung ist außergewöhnlich gut und es ist alles sehr liebevoll gerichtet und dekoriert. Vor allem in der Küche fehlt es an nichts. Die Wohnung ist gut gelegen für Ausflüge an den Bodensee und die junge Donau. Auch ist man in ca. 45 Minuten (unter Umgehung der Mautstraßen) am Rheinfall in Schaffhausen.

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet und blitzsauber! Es gibt eine wunderschöne sonnige Terrasse, die Blickgeschützt in einem kleinen Garten liegt! Die Lage in einer Sackgasse ist sehr ruhig und trägt zur Entschleunigung bei!Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war sehr freundlich! Sie hat sich trotz eines Unfalls um alle Belage gekümmert und war per WhatsApp stets erreichbar! Eine klare Empfehlung! Wir kommen wieder!
