Holiday destination
Kördorf sits in the Nassau Nature Park between the Rupbach valley and the Dörsbach valley in the Taunus region in the Rhine-Lahn-Aar Triangle area. Thanks to a legend, the Dörsbach valley (1km away) is also known as the "Jammertal" ("Vale of Tears"). The Taunus region surrounding the town of Katzenelnbogen is known as "Der Einrich" to locals.
Distances: 5 km - Katzenelnbogen, 14 km - Nassau/Lahn, 17 km - Diez/Lahn, 22 km - Limburg/Lahn, 23 km - Bad Ems/Lahn, 30 km - St. Goarshausen/Rhine/Lorelei, 40 km - Koblenz, 45 km - Wiesbaden, 80 km - Frankfurt.
Getting there
If you're coming from the north, take the A 3, take the Diez exit, then head right via Eppenrod and Holzappel to Kördorf. Alternatively, take the A 7 (see directions for people coming from the east).
If you're coming from the south, take the A 3. Take the Idstein exit, then turn left into the B 417 and drive via Ketternschwalbach, Panrod and Burgschwalbach. Then take the B 274 towards Katzenelnbogen. Alternatively, take the A 66 and the exit to the B 260 and drive via Martinsthal, Laufenselden and Katzenelnbogen to Kördorf.
If you're coming from the east, take the A 7 or the A 4, then take the B 45, the B 49 and the B 54 via Limburg, Diez, Birlenbach and Schönborn to Kördorf.
If you're coming from the west, take the A 48. Then take the A 3. If you're coming from Koblenz, take the B 260 to Obernhof, then turn right to Seelbach and Kördorf.

Our four children have flown the nest and are standing on their own two feet now. They also live in our extremely beautiful rural region.

Angekommen und sehr nett von Familie Eckhardt empfangen worden. Der Urlaub hat in dieser wirklich unglaublich schönen und sehr sauberen FeWo sofort angefangen. Umgebung wunderbar ruhig. Die Bilder im Internet entsprechen zu 100 % der Realität, wenn nicht noch schöner. Der Brötchenservice war super, vielen Dank an Herrn Eckhardt. Nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit in Katzenelnbogen 6 Km entfernt. Restaurants, die wir sehr zufrieden besucht haben: in Herold "Dorsbachhöhe" 2 Km entfernt und der Landgasthof Gemmer in Rettert (15 Minuten mit dem Auto). Limburg, Idstein und Diez haben uns gut gefallen und sind einen Besuch wert. Vielen Dank an Familie Eckhardt für den wunderschönen Urlaub bei Ihnen :-)

Die Lage der Wohnung ist ruhig und gut. Optimales Sprungbrett für einen Besuch in Idstein, Bad Camberg, Dietz, Limburg und Bad Ems sowie den Opelzoo. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Wer gerne Wandert ist hier ebenfalls gut aufgehoben. Viele Wanderwege in der nächsten Umgebung. Die Gastgeber sind aufmerksam und hilfsbereit, stehen mit guten Rat zur Seite. Wir hatten einen rundum perfekten Urlaub bzw. Aufenthalt.
Vielen Dank nocheinmal für den TippTopp Brötchenservice, wir kommen gerne wieder.
