Holiday destination
Wonderful Cinque Terre - just a 6-minute walk plus a 10-minute train ride from the holiday apartment. Or a 20-minute drive to Riomaggiore or Volastra (above Manarola). In Volastra, you can use one of our free private parking spaces to take a wonderful hike on the most beautiful trails of the Cinque Terre (through the vineyards at 300 meters altitude with a very beautiful panorama).
Portovenere - a beautiful characteristic harbor town (reachable by bus or car in 20 minutes)
Lerici/San Terenzo - great little typical seaside towns, beautiful beaches with light sand (direct bus connection).
Carrara - marble quarries and Campo-Cecina viewpoint, Apuan Alps.
Levanto, Sestri Levante, Santa Margherita Ligure, and Portofino are also waiting for your visit!
Getting there
You can comfortably reach La Spezia by train from all directions. The main train station, La Spezia Centrale, is just a 6-minute walk from your holiday apartment. Please do not get off at La Spezia-Migliarina station, make sure to wait for the main station La Spezia Centrale!
From La Spezia Centrale station, you can then reach the Cinque Terre villages in a few minutes with the Cinque Terre trains (without parking problems in the 5 villages).
If you are arriving by car, please leave the highway at the La Spezia exit! At the La Spezia-Santo Stefano Magra interchange, the highways from Genoa (A 12), from Pisa (A12), and from Parma (Autocisa A15) meet, which then leads into the city of La Spezia on a toll-free four-lane road for the last stretch (Via Carducci).
You will find parking spaces near the holiday apartment, mainly above the house on Via Oldoini, Via Bertolani e Neri, Scalinata Toscanini (access via Via Puccini), and Via Puccini.
La Spezia is also served by Flixbus. The stop is located at the entrance of the town on Via Carducci. From there, you can then take the bus or a taxi to the holiday apartment.
