In recent years, the Baltic coast has continuously developed, and today offers extensive themed beaches, a vast selection of restaurants, and a diversified beach promenade. The Baltic coast offers a range of physical activities such as various water sports, cycling tours, beach mini golf, the theme park 'Hansapark', a children-friendly high rope course, and the waterpark 'Ostee-Therme. Also, Scharbeutz is known to have the finest quality of beach sand in the Bay of Lübeck and is considered to be very child-friendly due to the relatively shallow water depth.
As a UNESCO world heritage city, Lübeck offers various sights and leisure activities including the visit of the 'Holstentor', the 'Günter Grass-Haus', the 'Buddenbrook-Haus, the 'Hansemuseum', a small harbor tour, and the enjoyment of the famous, traditional Lübecker Marzipan.
The world-known Hanseatic city of Hamburg (80km distance) is a perfect destination for a day trip.

Wir hatten ein richtig schönes Wochenende in der Ferienwohnung. Alles war sehr sauber, geräumig und gemütlich, sodass wir uns sofort wohlgefühlt haben. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die sehr netten und zuvorkommenden Vermieter, die den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht haben. Insgesamt war es für uns eine rundum gelungene Auszeit und wir können die Wohnung absolut weiterempfehlen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
