The surrounding is offering numerous leisure activities such as hiking on the "Rheinsteig", rhine river cruises, visiting the famous Loreley rock, many castles along the middle rhine as well as the nearby city of Koblenz with its fortress "Ehrenbreitstein", the "German Corner" as well as the cable car across the river rhine.
Holiday destination
The central location in the center of the small town of Kamp-Bornhofen is offering an ideal basis for long strolls at the river rhine (only 50 meters away) as well as hiking tours on the "Rheinsteig". Also the shipping piers for river cruises are within a few minutes walking distance. In direct surrounding you can find several restaurants to enjoy your evenings with a glass of rhine wine. For day trips a tour to the legendary "Loreley" rock, numerous medieval castles within the middle rhine valley as well as the city of Koblenz with the "German Corner" and Fortress Ehrenbreitstein are just a few options. Despite the central location the vacation home is free of train noise and also the nearby main street is not having an audible impact.
Getting there
Only a few steps away from the train station in Kamp-Bornhofen, arriving by train is recommendable. Free public parking lots can be found in close proximity to the vacation home (subject to availability). Also an arrival with bus or ship would be possible since also the bus stop and the shipping piers are only a few steps away.

Wir hatten nur zwei Tage für unseren Kurzurlaub zur Verfügung, von denen wir jede Minute in der FeWo Eulenhof genossen haben. Die Wohnung ist tipptopp sauber, sehr geschmackvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet. Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen und gut Schlafen.
Die zentrale Lage im Ort, die Nähe zum Rhein und Schiffsanleger, der Rheinsteig, die romantischen Burgen, ein Trip zur Loreley, gutes Essen, leckerer Wein, alles war perfekt.
Die Gastgeberin Petra Kahl hat die Auszeit mit ihrer Freundlichkeit zum Hochgenuss gemacht. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir haben uns in dieser sehr gut ausgestatteten Wohnung sofort wohl gefühlt. Es fehlte uns an gar nichts. Super Lage,fast direkt am Rhein. Guter Ausgangspunkt um Wandern zu gehen oder Fahrradturen zu machen.Viele sehenswerte Orte im Umkreis,ein paar Tage sind definitiv zu wenig,um alles zu erkunden. Beim schlechterem Wetter ist auf jeden Fall die Emser-Therme zu empfehlen. Frau Kahl ist eine tolle Gastgeberin,ihre offene,lockere Art macht es einem sehr einfach,sich wohlzufühlen,steht auch jeder Zeit mit vielen Tipps zur Verfügung. Wir können es nur empfehlen!!!
