Holiday destination
Within 100 meters, you'll come across Grabbachweg, from where you can reach the Algund Irrigation Channel Path or continue via Ochsentod, passing by Thurnstein Castle, to reach Tyrol Castle in about 1 hour, home to the South Tyrolean Provincial Museum of Culture and History. In 2.8 kilometers, you'll reach the spa town of Merano with the Merano Thermal Baths, the 800-year-old Laubengasse featuring over 200 shops, cafes, and restaurants, the magnificent promenades, and the botanical gardens "Schloss Trautmannsdorf".
Getting there
By car, take the MeBo expressway exit for Algund, then turn right until the traffic light and there turn left into the town center. After the church, take the road to the right, then the first street on the left, and again the first street on the right. Lafreid House is located after about 100m on the right side.
By train, go to Meran station and take the Citybus 237 (Oberplars) to the Rosengartenstraße stop. Follow the road westward. After 250m, the house is on the left side.

Die Ferienwohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet was das Herz begehrt. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und die fröhlichen Hühner haben uns mit ihren Eiern erfreut. Die Lage ist super gut sei es, dass man wandern möchte oder gerne mit dem Rad unterwegs ist.
Wir sind mit Hund gereist, der absolut willkommen war.
Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und waren bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal dort.

Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral und es gibt viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Umgebung.
Die Vermieter sind super nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben oft Eier von glücklichen Hühner geschenkt bekommen. Die Wohnung ist sehr liebevoll und sehr durchdacht ausgestattet. Vom Eierstecher bis zum Toaster ist alles vorhanden, was man sonst immer extra im Reisegepäck dabei hat. Ein Sodastream ist auch vorhanden und sollte die Kartusche mal leer sein, tauscht der Vermieter diese um. Selbst Tabletten für den Spüler waren vorhanden. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Nichts ist ausgelegen oder knarzt. Es gibt ein Hauptbad mit Dusche ,Badewanne ,WC und Waschmaschine und ein Gäste WC mit Waschbecken. Für das Auto ist ein überdachter Stellplatz vorhanden. Hier passt auch ein Bus (Hyundai Staria) rein . 100% Empfehlung
