In the midst of this unique natural landscape, the Ostsee Resort Olpenitz is being built between the Baltic Sea and the mouth of the Schleim River, near the town of Kappeln.

In addition to the vacation enjoyment in nature, you also have the opportunity to make trips to an urban environment due to the central location of the resort and the proximity to the small town of Kappeln. The town of Kappeln, which is known from the ZDF series 'Der Landarzt', offers numerous sights, such as the St. Nikolai Church, the Amanda windmill or the famous Kappeln herring fence.
This exists since the 15th century and is nowadays the only one in the whole of Germany and Europe. It is definitely worth a visit both for fishing enthusiasts and for the whole family, especially on Ascension weekend, when the Kappeln Herring Days are celebrated in honor of the fence!

Das Appartement "Hafenwelt" hat einen super Ausblick auf den Hafen des Resorts, man kann das treiben aus dem 3. Stock beobachten und die schönsten Sonnen Auf- u. Untergänge im Bild festhalten!
Die Küche hat alles was man so braucht einen Herd zum Pizza backen, eine Mikrowelle um mal schnell etwas aufzuwärmen, eine gute Grundausstattung an Küchenutensilien, der Fernseher hat Magenta TV, ein großer Esstisch mit Blick auf den Hafen, einfach gut!
Wir waren jetzt zum zweiten mal im ORO und wir können bestätigen, entweder man liebt es, oder man hasst es, dazwischen gibt es nichts!
