§ 4 Cancellation and Termination of Stay
If the tenant cancels the contract before the rental period begins, without naming a substitute tenant who enters into the contract under the same terms, and if re-renting is not possible, the deposit will be retained and the following pro-rated rents are to be paid as compensation:
Cancellation:
- up to 90 days before rental begins: 30% of the rental price
- up to 60 days before rental begins: 55% of the rental price
- up to 30 days before rental begins: 75% of the rental price
- from 29 days before rental begins: 100% of the rental price
- in case of no-show without cancellation: 100% of the rental price
The landlord will attempt to re-rent the property.
The tenant can at any time prove that the landlord incurred less damage.
If the tenant terminates the stay early, they remain obligated to pay the full rental price.
A cancellation or termination can only be made in writing. The date of receipt of the declaration by the landlord is decisive.
In the event of cancellation before the rental begins, a processing fee of 100 € will be charged in any case, which will be offset against the deposit if applicable.
It is strongly recommended to take out travel cancellation insurance.
