Holiday destination
The Berchtesgadener Land offers a lot of variety for a wonderful holiday. The surrounding mountains with beautiful hiking trails invite you to explore the breathtaking nature at a slower pace. There are many lakes for sunbathing and splashing around, as well as an attractive range of sports. There's a lot on offer such as mountain biking, rafting, paragliding, and winter sports. There is also a lot of history to discover in nearby Salzburg and Berchtesgaden.
Getting there
By car, take the A8 from Munich in the direction of Salzburg (A). Exit the motorway at the Bad Reichenhall exit (last exit before the state border) in the direction of Berchtesgaden. You bypass Bad Reichenhall and soon reach Bayerisch Gmain (also called the Beverly Hills of Bad Reichenhall). From here it is just a stone's throw to the accommodation.
You can easily reach us by train via the Freilassing stop, which is located just before Salzburg. Change there to the shuttle to Berchtesgaden and get off at Bayerisch Gmain. We can arrange a pick-up from the train station to your accommodation.

Host informationWe are the Salzeders and we live with our child and dog on Lake Ammersee near Munich. Chalet Salzeder was the home of my mother, artist Sybille Salzeder. We have now made it accessible and look forward to guests from all over the world experiencing the unique nature and environment of the Berchtesgadener Land. We are landlords, carpenters, designers, and restaurateurs all under one roof.

Wir durften die Ostertage in dieser schön gestalteten und perfekt ausgestatteten Ferienwohnung genießen und haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen. Ein Kaminofen sorgt für eine heimelige Atmosphäre.
Bad Reichenhall ist fußläufig erreichbar, Wanderwege beginnen direkt vor der Haustür. Der Kontakt zum Vermieterpaar war unkompliziert und herzlich.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in dieser Ferienwohnung!
Die Lage ist super - ein herrlicher Blick auf Gipfel und ideal für Wanderungen und Ausflüge.
Die Wohnung selbst war sehr sauber, modern eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht.
Besonders gefallen hat uns der gemütliche Balkon, auf dem wir morgens unseren Kaffee in der Sonne genießen konnten.
Die Gastgeber waren ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit, haben uns mit tollen Tipps für die Umgebung versorgt und dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns rundum wohlfühlten.
Wir kommen gerne noch einmal wieder und können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen!
